Time - a subtle frame

24 hrs !!  that's all that we get without any prejudice irrespective of our latitude and longitude in this lilliputian rock revolving around the Sun. There is dawn, noon, dusk and night; terms which we use interchangeably for referring past, present and future scenario.
Does these scenario intrigue you? It will, perhaps there will not be states such as past, present and future once the brain loses its ability to memorize past events. In such a case, people tend to live the immediate moment and that's it. All day long, the only thing which will be noticed is the shining and fading sunlight. We do have a past only because we remember the events beforehand.

Life is like a movie and space time - three dimensional space and one dimension of time - is like a DVD that plays the movie and which does not change its place of existence. The drama unfolds over time, upon watching we get an illusion that things are happening over time nonetheless it's all predetermined.
Time is just a human construct, to organize, set things in order and to create a timeline for past events. It's subjective to one's perspective. For example, one human year makes more difference to ants than to dogs concerning their lifespan. We have heard stories of sages who meditate for years and wakes up as if it was for just an hour. This reveals the exuberance of energy levels at the time of meditation and how it's related to the feeling of passing time.

As energy levels get enhanced, the clock ticks at a slower rate. The clock ticks 66 seconds less a year in the sun's exterior with reference to atomic clock in the earth. Likewise, near high energy sources like neutron stars and blackholes, clocks won't tick - past, present and future will converge to one point - and space shrinks to nothingness. There you could select the time frame you want to be in unless an otherwise if you cease to exist.

There are only two variables known to humans as of now with which TIME can be manipulated:

SPEED and GRAVITY

I suppose we aren't manipulating time. I think we are manipulating how we experience reality.
"Time is but a stubborn illusion" - Albert Einstein.

Time is relative, and is quite funny as a concept. We aren't slowing time down by meditating, just increasing our sensitivity to our reality, and experiencing it in all its glory. Speed, and speed at which objects travel with with respect to Gravity, is precisely how I think we perceive things around us.

"Likewise, near high energy sources like neutron stars and blackholes, clocks won't tick" Or, it ticks at speeds we aren't sensitive to yet, on either sides of the specturm. Too fast, or too slow. Existence of time is justifies by one, and only means. The information that a time line accumulates. Just like our lives are justified by the information we accumulate through our lives. Time is simply a place to store information, like height or width or depth. Just like volume for a 3D object, volume over time is a measure of a 4D being, I suppose.

    1. Thank you Selva for sharing your perspective. Just to put a little more clarity, we cannot manipulate time coz any distortion in time can be triggered only through speed and gravity which we don't have any control over. Just like you said, the level of detail to which we experience reality is the way we could manipulate our biological clock, not the external clock which is not uniform concerning to different space-time continuum.
Time slows down(the one we aren't sensitive or we are not used to ) near the higher gravity sources. A little understanding of this concept( time is relative to gravity) enabled human to put time correction in GPS satellites.
Right, time can be a medium to store the information to which we are exploring the possibilities.
